The Moffitt kiddo's

The kids continue to amaze Mike and I.

Conner is just such a little man. He is growing so fast. It seems like in the last week or so all of his clothes and shoes no longer fit him. His hands, legs and feet are growing so fast. We are still potty training but not "rushing" him. Conner is expressing a lot of interest in going "pee pee on the potty". He goes several times and then has an accident.

Conner told us that he would like to be "Spider man" for Halloween. So of course mommy is on a quest to find Conner the coolest "spider man" costume around. Grandma bought him a "spider man" trick or treat bucket so he thinks he is a pretty cool little man.

Some days Mike and I can't even get a word in edge wise. Conner is telling us about EVERYTHING... Seriously! Talk, Talk, Talk, Talk.... It is amazing how they develop.

Claire on the other hand is so big (7 1/2 months - can you believe it?). We had a stretch of a few week where she was waking several times a night and mommy was not getting much sleep... We have overcome that problem and we are now on 4 nights of complete sleep. 6:00 pm till 7:00 am - sometimes later. Yippee!!!! Claire is saying "da da" and "ma ma' now. It's so cute! She also has found her lips. Claire is full of many different funny faces. I can't wait to capture some of the faces and post them for all to see. She is about ready to start scooting. Claire is starting to figure out that she can move with out mommies help. It's only a few weeks before she is up crawling and into everything.

Our nature trip.....

We just got home from a few days out at the river. What a trip!.!.!. Normally we spend the evening driving the kids around trying to spot deer. This trip we actually caught one. What an experience. We also found some antlers and a very BIG scorpion....

Claire's Room (Finally)

Today we FINALLY finished up Claire's room. We have been so busy with "LIFE" that we have put Claire's room on hold till today.

Yes, Claire has been sleeping in her room for a few months now. It was painted many months ago too, however I have just now finished the final touches to her room....

I love looking in there and seeing it completed.

Special Treats.....

Today Claire got a special treat for the first time... Mommy bought her some "Gerber Wagon Wheel Puffs"... I wasn't to sure what she would do with them... However she picked it up and started to eat it.

A day at the park....

Today Conner, Claire, Benji, Auntie (my sis), Grandma and I had a wonderful picnic at the park. We got to see the choo choo train MANY times, run on the grass, play on all the fun slides and in the sand. The weather today is so beautiful, our picnic could not have been better other than we really missed daddy.

7 months old (a few days late)

Here are a few pictures of the "birthday girl" on the morning of her 7 month old birthday... Claire chose rice cereal and pears for breakfast. Actually, mommy did not give her much of a choice.

Claire is getting so big. I have not had a chance to measured her or weighed her in a few weeks. All I know is she is wearing 12 month clothes and sometime 18 month. I can' believe how fast she is growing up. This week she started to pick up finger foods. It is so cute to watch her eat "puffs". We aren't crawling yet, but I know it will only we a matter of weeks before she starts.

Did I mention that she eats EVERYTHING?

Claire got her first tooth.....

I forgot to share...

Claire got her first tooth on our trip. On Sunday August 26th mommy and Claire had a sleepless night. By Monday morning we had a tooth that FINALLY made it's appearance.

Once I can get her to open her mouth for a picture, I will post it!

Labor Day Trip to the river..

We just returned home from 9 days out at the river... It was a nice time together!

Conner was busy as busy can be. We started to do a little potty training and he did GREAT!
