Claire is wearing a very special dress that belongs to her cousin Avery. Claire is growing so fast. It completely amazes Mike and I that she is developing so fast.

Conner has a new habit of putting on his boots while he plays and in the middle of the night. I went to check on him this morning and I found him asleep with his fireman rain boots on. Too too cute!!!

We took a fun trip to The Orange County Fair on Friday. Conner had a blast and Claire slept. The heat with difficult to deal with but we made it. Keanne and Taylor joined us in our day of fun.
Taylor loves to give Conner love.
The kids were able to see the cows, chicks and new born baby pigs. Conner attempted to climb into the stall with the pig and her babies.
On our way out we stumbled across a "QUAD" give away. This made Conner's day. He LOVES mommies quad and can't wait to get his own.
While at the fair we bought Conner his very first pair of Rainbow flip flops.
(Just like daddy)
Conner wasn't about to miss out on anything.

Today we took our first trip to Bass Pro Shop. It's the first store of it's kind in Southern California. All I can say is "Holly Cow".... We walked in and Conner's eyes lit up (so did Mike's - Only he has been there before)... All the fish tanks and wildlife, I am not sure Conner new what to do with himself. We did find a race car that Conner made himself very comfortable in.

Claire is almost 5 1/2 months old and changing every single day. She has discovered that she has a very LOUD voice and that if she smiles she gets what she wants. I guess mommy and daddy are suckers!
Claire is now eating in her high chair and she looks like such a big girl... I got her on the scale a few days ago and she was right around 19 pounds. Wow! I feel like we are going through clothes like crazy right now. She is eating cereal, carrots, squash (yuck), sweet potatoes and peas.
As you can see she loves to play in her high chair...
Showing off her smile....
Over all things here in the Moffitt house are going well. I think we are still settling in from our long time away. I feel like I go go go and hardly have two minutes to rest... But I guess that is life with two busy kids and a dog. Mike is working a lot and continues to complete projects around our house. We just acquired a new water softener so that will be the next project... It's never ending. I am still finalizing Claire's room - I promise to post pictures of the princesses room once I am done...Believe it or not I am actually working on Claire's birth announcements. I'd love to get them out before she starts driving... hee hee!
Love to you all!

We just returned home from a wonderful family river trip. We spent 8 days out at our river house. It was very relaxing and well needed.
We spend 4th of July at Papa and Grandma (Irma) Petrotta's house. Mom made a great meal & we were able to watch the fire works....
On the 5th we headed out for our vacation. When we arrived at the river house it was 122 degrees. I have to say the air conditioning felt very good. Conner of course wanted to play in the pool, drive the golf cart & go on quad rides. He loves his time out at the river house.
Both kids changed so much while we were away. Conner is talking so much, sentence after sentence ~ I honestly think I need some more energy to keep up with him. Conner is saying his first and last name, his age, and the month that he was born. He has also started to say his ABC's as well as count to 10. Claire on the other hand is such a "girl"... She is just as busy as Conner but in a different way. Claire is eating carrots, squash and sweet potatoes now. All she wants to do is smile. Claire's smiles light up the room. I love it!
Conner and daddy went fishing and caught a big fish... Something like - 2 pounds. I don't know exactly - I was just there to snap the photo....
Claire had her first swim in the river... As you can see she was very excited!
Mommy took a swim with the kids....

On our way home from the river we stopped and had lunch with Grammy and Papa at their desert house. Conner was able to swim - he had so much fun. So did mommy and daddy.
Claire is eating cereal now.... She loves it!
Isn't her face so sweet?
